The Lehigh Valley is a great place to live and raise a family. I’ve lived in many parts of the country as well as overseas. The thing that strikes me about the Lehigh Valley is how nice and friendly the people and businesses are. Also, this area offers such a great blend of city amenities coupled with country. This means that you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the great choices available to you in the Lehigh Valley.
This website was put together to present to the public what we think are the very best businesses in the Lehigh Valley. It is organized by the three major cities, Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton for businesses that are specifically located in each of these cities. Don’t think a business deserves to be highlighted here? Let us know – we want your feedback and we will listen! In fact, you may even persuade us to make a change and highlight a better business. Go ahead an email me – I want to hear your thoughts.
Here is brief overview of the Lehigh Valley, with some of it’s highlights:
In the mood for a big city experience? Well you can get great dining and entertainment right here in the Lehigh Valley. But if that doesn’t do it for you, well New York City and Philadelphia are within a 60-90 minute drive. But I’ve found that Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton offer many, many great opportunities for sporting events, dining, entertainment and so much more. For example, minor league baseball is available at the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs stadium in Allentown, PA. 2014 marks the inaugural season of the Phantoms Hockey team in Allentown. College football is abundant ranging from Lehigh’s Mountain Hawks in Bethlehem, PA to the Lafayette Leopards in Easton, PA.
Looking for musical entertainment? Bethlehem hosts the two week MusikFest celebration every August. This event draws in the best musical acts across all genres. Free outdoor music concerts occur every Thursday through Sunday evening at the Steel Stacks in Bethlehem during the summer months. In the mood for theater? You’re in luck as the State Theater in Easton and Lehigh’s Zoellner Center are tow fantastic choices.
Raising a family in the Lehigh Valley? Looking for good schools? You’ve come to the right place. The Valley offers many exceptional public and private school options for kids from pre-school through high school. In fact, the Lehigh Valley is also home to many fine secondary schooling options such as Lehigh University, Lafayette College, Moravian College, Muhlenberg College, DeSales University and the Lehigh Valley Campus of Penn State University.
That’s all I have for now. Please browse through this site and check out all of the great businesses that the Lehigh Valley has to offer.
