Overcoming Terminal Lung Cancer with Clinical Trial – Lehigh Valley Health Network

When war veteran Jonathan Gyuran experienced chest pains at work, he thought he was having a heart attack. Within 24 hours, tests conducted at Lehigh Valley Health Network revealed the true cause: cancer that had spread to both lungs. Lehigh Valley Health Network medical oncologist Brian Patson, MD, suggested a clinical trial that was ultimately able to help Jonathan beat the odds and put his cancer into remission.

Lehigh Valley Health Network Cancer Institute is proud to be part of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance, an initiative to improve the quality of care and outcomes for patients with cancer in community health settings.
